About our Club
The Rotary Club of Ashmore was chartered on the 9th May 1990. The Club was the first in District 9640 to introduce women members. There were 22 men and 6 women at the time of Charter. In 2010 there were 22 male and 15 female members of the Rotary Club of Ashmore.
The members are very active in all avenues of Service through Rotary and are pleased to record some of the activities that they have been involved in, and are currently undertaking:
- Relay for Life - for 7 years
- Science & Engineering Challenge - 6 years
- A Day Out with Rotary - 3 years
- Interact Clubs - Chartered 4 clubs on the Gold Coast
- Cambodia Project - our latest one - we are going to build a Teaching Establishment in Cambodia.... for more information on this project - watch this space!!!

ROTARIANS meet weekly for fellowship and interesting and informative programs dealing with topics of local and global importance. Membership reflects a wide cross-section of community representation.
