Marc is a prominent Gold Coast businessman who has been heavily involved in Queensland 's tourism and business sectors since 1989, when first involved with franchised ground transport systems. He was appointed to oversee the sales and marketing team in Gold Coast, Brisbane and North Queensland in a senior managerial position within the Equity Transport franchises.
Since then, he has undertaken several business and employment ventures, including a five year stint as an owner-operator within Gold Coast Limousines and Coaches and, later, owner-operator of a 140 seat Chinese restaurant in central Surfers Paradise. Other roles have included sales and marketing positions for Shangri La Cruises and several electoral campaign management positions.
Marc is currently completing a Bachelor of Business, Marketing at the University of Southern Queensland and is the ultimate licensee of the Aussie Stampede project for the Asia Pacific. With his wife, are the owners and managers of holiday apartments on the Gold Coast. A connoisseur of languages and business, Marc is capable of basic conversation in Japanese and Cantonese and is former board member of the Japan Travel Association Queensland. A prominent member of his local community, Marc holds memberships to the Surfers Paradise Surf Life Saving Club, The Northcliffe Surf Life Saving Club and the Ashmore Rotary Club.
